Man I am out of touch! It’s a few days away from Christmass and just remembered that I have this blog to keep up! Ahhh! Things are still touchey here in Japan with me. Just getting caught up with all the bills from moving here back in May. My new jobs is OK…. I am an Environmental Program Analysts for NAVFAC FE. It pays well.. I hope to move on to another job soon that will allow me more free time. I finally got to researching the race and drift tracks here. Now just have to get my Mustang registered so that I can drive here and then go racing.

Still trying to figure out this blog site and how to load pics. I’m taking pic’s of cars here that you would never see in the US. When I do I’ll load them up for all.

Jobs???

September 14th, 2009 by nickdadick

Funny thing about looking for a job! You always tend not to find what you are looking for. Then out of the blue you find a Job thats perfect for a friend! Thats what happend to me yesterday! I was hitting up the Gumball3000 web and clicked the jobs tab. As I was reading, a name we all know popped into my head. So I shot off an e-mail to the jobs coordinator with a smal but effective discription of him. Guess who e-mail me back. The VicePrez herself Julie Brangstrup asking for his resume and setting up an interview.

The reason I am ommiting his name is that I don’t want to jinx him or cause any problems for him. But this guy does more before lunch than most people do in a week! If all pans out and he gets picked up. You will deffinatly hear about it. The NW will never be the same!

First off a big thanks to Eddi for this oppritunity! Without him this would have never happened!

Now for me. Just a litte history and back ground on me. I have been living in Japan off and on since 1997. I have been call a motor head, grease monkey, car nut, speed junkey and so on. Basicly I love high performance cars and working on them. I can’t remember when I wasn’t involved in cars in some aspect. I’ve built engines from you average run of the mill Ford 302 to a 1100bhp twin turbo RB26Dett/RB31monster. I am a do it yourselfer and experimenter. I love a challenge. When someone says it can’t be done and I think it can. I do it just for fun! I am also a good net worker! I have over the years made friends with various tuner shops here in Japan. I’ve also built up an enormus library of books (primarly Nissan) and manuals. If I don’t know for sure, I have people who do.

So in closing, If you need advice, help or just want to pick my brain make a post or drop me a line!
